Absolute Green Lantern is an ongoing series in DC's Absolute Universe, launched in April 2025 as part of the DC All In initiative. Written by Al Ewing with art by Jahnoy Lindsay, it reinvents the Green Lantern mythos as cosmic horror in a small desert town.
When a colossal alien calling himself Abin Sur descends on Evergreen, Nevada, seals it off and begins passing judgment on its people, the residents are thrown into terror.
Jo Mullein, newly back in town after her divorce, unexpectedly inherits his green power, while familiar names such as Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner and John Stewart are reshaped in surprising and unsettling ways. Built around a reimagined spectrum of emotional light, the series is collected in trade paperback volumes.
