About this series

Absolute Flash is an ongoing series in DC's Absolute Universe, launched in March 2025 as part of the DC All In initiative. Written by Jeff Lemire with art by Nick Robles, it reimagines the Scarlet Speedster as Wally West, a teenage army brat living on a remote military base with a harsh, mostly absent father.

When a secret experiment run by scientist Barry Allen goes catastrophically wrong, Barry is killed and Wally is left with speed powers he can barely control. Now a fugitive hunted by the very people who created him, Wally has to figure out what he has become, with help from an unlikely companion: a mutated, super-intelligent ape named Grodd.

A darker, more personal take on the Flash legend, the series is collected in trade paperback volumes.
