A Modern Fairytale

Katy Regnery's collection of standalone contemporary romances, each one inspired by a well-known fairy tale or legend: Beauty and the Beast, Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood, Camelot, The Little Mermaid, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Aladdin, Rip Van Winkle and The Ugly Duckling among them. Begun in 2014 with The Vixen and the Vet, the books share no continuing cast and are written to be read in any order, though a few are published as linked pairs. Each transplants its source tale into a present-day setting, and the tone varies widely from book to book.
